Naja Dyrendom Graugaard is post.doc at the Danish Center for Environmental Assessment, Aalborg University, Denmark. Inspired by her own mixed background in Denmark and Greenland, Naja's research has been focused on the colonial relations and processes of decolonization in Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland), Inuit knowledges and stories, gender and environment, and decolonizing/Indigenous research methodologies in the Arctic. Besides this work, Naja has also published poetic, theatrical, and auto-biographical writings that shed light on the (inter)generational experiences of colonization, racialization, and resurgence in mixed, Indigenous families in Denmark. Naja often-times draws on arts-based approaches to research and collaborative work, informed by her work in the theatre arts.
