Matthew Darmour-Paul is a researcher and designer based in Sydney, Australia. Born into the midwestern United States of Amne$ia and bred on vanilla wafers (the same used to test lab rats), his work questions the role of design caught in a series of cascading metabolic, ecological and social conflicts. In 2019, he co-founded Feral Partnerships, a collective that focuses on re-claiming architectural knowledge in an age of rapid biodiversity loss and species extinction as spatial practices in the pursuit of multispecies flourishing. Matthew has a BA in Architecture from Iowa State University (USA) and holds an MA in Architecture from the Royal College of Art (UK). He’s worked for and with artists, architects, sociologists and anthropologists in the UK, Denmark, and Australia.
